How to turn Beer Green for St Patrick's Day

HOW TO TURN BEER GREEN
Here is a great trick for your St. Patrick's Day party... making green beer. There are some easy ways to turn beer the lovely green colour we associate with St. Patrick's Day. This may seem like a weird process, but I can tell you that the beer is safe to drink. Follow the step by step guide below for how to make a beer green in colour.

Ingredients
- Light coloured beer
- Green food colouring

Step 1
Choose a light coloured Irish beer (Guinness or Murphy's are popular Irish beers, but they are too dark for this to work)
Step 2
Add a few drops of green food colouring into the bottom of a chilled glass
Step 3
Pour the beer into the glass
Step 4
Observe the green colour—especially in the head (the foamy portion at the top of the glass). Add another drop or two of food colouring, if needed.

NB: If you add the food colouring after pouring the beer into the glass, it will still work, but you will have to stir the beer.
Remember, what goes into you green is more than likely to exit you green.

There you have it, the easy way to make a beer green.
