How to make Banana Bread: Moist Banana Bread recipe and tips


HOW TO MAKE MOIST BANANA BREAD: 5 EASY STEPS
Here is a great banana bread recipe courtesy of Simply Recipes. There are two things I like most about this recipe: Firstly, this recipe makes the most beautifully moist banana bread; and secondly, this recipe requires no mixer and therefore there is far less to clean up which is always a bonus!

Banana Bread Ingredients
- 3-4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups all pupose flour
- pinch of salt

Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C
Step 2
In a large bowl, add the bananas, flour and butter
Step 3
Stir in sugar, egg and vanilla
Step 4
Sprinkle baking soda and salt over mixture and stir
Step 5
Pour moist banana bread batter into lightly greased 4X8 inch loaf pan and bake at 180°C for 45 minutes to an hour or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean

Let cool on a rack before slicing. Enjoy.

QUICK TIPS:
- Add walnuts, if desired
- The banana bread will keep in an airtight container out of direct sunlight for up to 3 days. Alternatively, place in an airtight container, then label, date and freeze for up to 1 month. Place in the fridge overnight to thaw.
